Stress All The Time It Never Ever Ends
September 2022You just feel some kind of stress all the time. Your inner self is not at peace. Maybe the moment you find some kind of peace, it takes one thought to mess it all up again.
Why does it happen?
You are being hard on yourself. You keep pushing yourself to do things, and you blame yourself for anything that isn't perfect. You know what it's like to be at peace, you're just in a mental state where you have trouble finding that peace.
What can you do about it?
The answer lies in forgiveness, as explained in The Power of Now:
- Whatever is going on , tell yourself "It's okay, I forgive you"
- Let go of blaming yourself
- When you feel yourself losing control, focus on the breath (and breathe through the stomach)
- Focus on your senses, relax your body
- Be willing to feel the negative emotions within
